Attic Renovation
Attic Renovation replaces worn-out, compressed, or contaminated attic insulation with new insulation installed to current code. Most homes built before 2000 in the Puget Sound fall well short of today's R-49 attic standard — a full renovation closes that gap. The service also includes air sealing to stop heating and cooling leaks, an inspection and upgrade of roof ventilation (roof jacks, soffit vents, bathroom/kitchen vent caps, solar fans) for proper airflow, and a sanitizing treatment to eliminate existing odors.
